Comfort Salve

Our Comfort Salve is infused with Comfrey, Plantain, and Nettle. This Salve can be used on bee stings, cuts, scrapes, burns, bites, rashes, bruises, or areas of inflammation. Lets Learn about each herb of this salve:

Comfrey: Also known as Knitbone, is used to aide in the reduction of inflammation. Comfrey also contains allantoin a natural compound that may aid in the growth of new skin cells. Allantoin also acts as a moisturizer to aid in the reduction of dry skin.

Plantain: This well known and long used herb aides in the healing of wounds, reduction of inflammation or dermatitis, bruises, and insect bites. This herb is versatile and also contains Allantoin like comfrey.

Nettle: This stinging herb may also work in the reduction of inflammation, redness, dryness of skin, and bug bites. This salve allows you to enjoy the benefits of this normally stinging friend. 

The organic Jojoba Oil comes directly from its native habitat along the California and Arizona border, directly from the farmer, no dilution or imported oil is used. Jojoba Oil is most biosimilar to our own bodies natural oil, sebum, making it one of the best oils around for absorption and sensitive skins. Not only is Jojoba great for the skin, but it can also be used as a hair oil to help restore natural luster and shine by rehydrating hair and dry scalp while reducing split ends.

The local beeswax helps protect and lock in moisture when applied on the skin by creating a barrier to the applied area.

Suggested uses: Use the salve daily and apply directly to your hands, face, lips, or other affected areas. Gently massage oil in a circular pattern around the affected areas. Apply more as needed throughout the day.

Farmers Note: This all-natural product may vary in color with each batch. Small traces of plant material or resins may be present. Keep out of direct sunlight and cold. Oils left in the sun may go rancid and oils left in colder spaces may become cloudy and resin may separate. Hand warm by rolling the bottle in between your hands and shake the bottle thoroughly to remix.
