Spearmint Seed

Mentha spicata

A must have for any herb garden. This perennial plant grows through rhizomes and will spread easily. Great in pots or containers Spearmint will do great in the shade or sun. Mints love moist soil so don't forget to water this one! Use dried or fresh in your tea cup. Widely used for gastrointestinal upsets of varying degrees and nausea. Spearmint can also be used as a topical plant to support swollen tissue.
